Mississauga has been forced to shorten its New Year’s Eve festivities due to extreme cold weather conditions, the city announced Saturday. The festivities at Celebration Square have been revised to begin at 11:30 p.m. instead of 8 p.m., with live music followed by a midnight fireworks display.
