Four people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash on the westbound Gardiner Expressway. The collision happened around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday on the westbound lanes between South Kingsway and Islington. Const. Clint Stibbe of Traffic Services said a vehicle was attempting to re-enter the highway from the shoulder when it was struck by another car. School bus drivers in communities east of Toronto walk off job

TORONTO – School bus drivers serving several communities east of Toronto are on strike after contract talks between Unifor and First Student Bowmanville broke off Tuesday night. The walkout affects routes in the Durham, Durham Catholic, Kawartha Pine Ridge and the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Boards. Canada-wide warrant issued for Surrey, B.C. man in ‘cowardly’ assault on man with autism

Peel Regional Police say a Canada-wide warrant has been issued for one of three suspects in the vicious beating of a man with autism at a Toronto-area bus terminal. Police are now looking for 25-year-old Ronjot Singh Dhami, of no fixed address.
