A 24-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Richmond Hill. The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Friday at 16th Avenue and Bayview Avenue. York Regional Police said a vehicle lost control and ended up flipped onto its side. The male driver was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead. A teenage boy was transported to hospital with serious injuries following a shooting at an underground parking garage in Toronto. Toronto police responded to a call around 11 p.m. Thursday at Rochefort Drive and Deauville Lane in Flemingdon Park. Toronto paramedics said a male teen was located with multiple gunshot wounds. TORONTO – The Toronto Transit Commission says it has parted company with more than 200 people who had connections to a multimillion-dollar benefits scam. The transit provider says 223 employees have been dismissed, resigned or taken early retirement to avoid dismissal after their participation in the scheme.
