Search continues for 3-year-old-boy missing after minivan swept into Grand River

Search efforts continue Thursday for a three-year-old boy who went missing after a vehicle was swept into the Grand River near Orangeville, Ont., amid severe flooding in the area Wednesday morning, the Ontario Provincial Police say. A 21-year-old woman has died in hospital after being pulled from a house fire in Etobicoke. Fire crews responded to a call around 2:30 a.m. Thursday at a residence on Byng Avenue near Albion Road just north of Highway 401. Man struck and killed by truck in central Scarborough

A man has died after he was struck by a truck in Toronto’s east end on Wednesday evening.
