A Mississauga semi-detached home was badly damaged after a fire overnight Tuesday. Emergency Services responded to calls about a house fire on Lundene Road at around 3:30 a.m. All of the occupants of the home made it out safely. Firefighters also rescued two dogs. One person is dead after a shooting in the vicinity of the Brantford General Hospital in Brantford, Ont. early Monday evening. A hospital spokesperson told Global News that the shooting happened near a Rexall pharmacy located close to the hospital. The victim was driven to the hospital suffering from gunshot wounds.
