Police are investigating after a 26-year-old woman was shot and killed in Mississauga.
Peel Regional Police said the shooting happened around 5 a.m. near the area of Dixie Road and Rathburn Road.
Peel Paramedics said the female victim was located with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released any details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting.
